On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,610. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.941 billion and the number of lots traded 13,648.

Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 PKR 2.595 billion followed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 2.219 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.919 billion, gold PKR 1.527 billion, DJ PKR 156.956 million, silver PKR 145.058 million, platinum PKR 135.890 million, Palladium PKR 75.537 million, natural gas PKR 62.507 million, copper PKR 46.828 million, SP500 PKR 35.065 million and Brent crude oil PKR 21.651 million. In agriculture commodities 14 lots of cotton valued at PKR 11.504 million were traded.
